This guy is towing a kayak (cool!); this lady and her bike were pretty darn impressive; and, there is a strong presence of local police (on motorcycles, bicycles, and on foot).
The bars along Main Street have live music and other attractions. Our first stop was at world- famous Froggy’s Saloon.
I started the day with a Bloody Mary (and John, a beer) at the Full Moon Saloon. They had a great band.
Next we went to Dirty Harry’s where there was a wet T-shirt contest. There were women of all ages and sizes participating in it. What a hoot!
Main Street Station and Boot Hill Saloon are two more iconic venues for music, food, and drinks.
Besides visiting the many shops (selling event paraphernalia and other biker-related stuff), checking out parked bikes along Main Street is so fun. While most of them are Harleys, you can see a little bit of everything at Biketoberfest.
And we saw some doggies, too, but our Sadie thought some of the bikes were too loud.
After purchasing event patches, we got them sewn on our leathers here (as several shops offer this service for a small fee). And we saw these interesting folks while waiting...
We made just one last stop at Cruisin’ where there were seats outside with a view of Main Street. Check out the hostesses, and, a patron with some stilettos!
Before leaving Daytona Beach, we walked down to the boardwalk and beach.
What a fun day! We enjoyed the sights and sounds of the bike scene. For information about Biketoberfest 2019, go to www.daytonabeach.com/biketoberfest/events.
