Conestoga Quarters RV Park, June 29 to July 6, 2016

Rating: 3 on a scale of 5

Location:  We planned to stay two weeks on the Olympic Peninsula, the first week in Forks, WA, to explore the coastal and rain forest areas of Olympic National Park. The second week, we stayed here (between Port Angeles and Sequim, WA) to more of the park (Hurricane Ridge, Crescent Lake, Sol Duc) and the Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge. This park was a great home base for sightseeing, but also to take our dog, Sadie, to the vet in Silverdale (Banfield Pet Hospital). From Silverdate, we went to Seattle for a short visit as well enjoying the opportunity to experience some ferry rides (although I would not have to do that on a daily basis!)

Lot size: We had lot 34, actually one of the nicest sites in the park. Our motor coach (34') and tow dolly fit easily on the lot. We parked our car in the overflow parking directly across from our site. Some of the drive through sites (#25-32) are much longer than ours was.

Amenities: There are picnic table and fire ring at each site. We did not use the restrooms/showers. There are a couple of pet areas, one right next to where we parked our car.

The other area is across the creek near the rear of the park. There is a washer and dryer in the office area. The wifi connectivity here is great...some of the best we have found in our travels! This is the office.

Cost: $258/week

Management: The management folks here are very nice and helpful. They checked in with us a couple of time to see if we needed anything. Also, I was able to have our mail and an Amazon package delivered here. That's the owner...really nice guy.

General Comments: There appeared to be lots of folks that were staying here for months (those working in the area). This is a nice, basic park that was what we expected. We felt very welcome and comfortable here.
