Tonight we saw the beautiful sunset from the South Kaibab Trailhead near Yaki Point. Because only shuttle buses are permitted on Yaki Point Road and we wanted to take Sadie with us, we drove east on Desert View Drive and parked at the Pipe Creek Vista. From there, we walked a mile on the Rim Trail to reach South Kaibab.
It was a beautiful night and, therefore, a lovely walk along the South Rim of the Canyon at this time of day.

The walk back to Pipe Creek Vista was beautiful as darkness fell over the Canyon.
Admission to the Grand Canyon is $25/vehicle for a 7-day pass. John's senior pass gets us in for free.
