Grand Canyon, Yavapai Point - 9/03/14

After settling in to our RV site in Grand Canyon Village, we drove to Yavapai Point for a view of the canyon at sunset. There is also a geology museum located here (photo below) that we will visit sometime during our stay here.

We arrived about an hour before sunset and strolled along the Rim Trail. As you proceed along the trail, there is an amazing view at every turn.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our first day at this amazing natural wonder...so much more to see.
