Arbuckle RV Resort, June 17 to June 24, 2019

Rating:  4.0 out of 5.0

Location: This RV resort is located directly across the street from the fantastic Chickasaw Cultural Center. If you are in the area, you should definitely plan a visit. It is also a short distance from the Chickasaw National Recreation Area. We wanted to visit both places, so this was a perfect home base for us during our one-week stay.

Lot size: There are all back-in sites here, but the lots are a nice size. We had a lovely shaded lot (#44) on the end of the upper level. A nice picnic table and grill are at each site. If you have kids, try to reserve a site on the lower level closer to the playgrounds.

The storm shelter for the park was across from our site.

Amenities: There are many fun outdoor activities for park guests here: swimming pool, playground, tree house, climbing wall, volley ball, horseshoes, disc golf (3-hole), and zip line.

A fenced, off-leash dog run is also available.

A couple of catch-and-release fishing ponds are also on the grounds.

The laundry room has only two washers/two dryers, but that worked out fine for us. Our sweet doggie, Sadie, waited outside for us (as always) when we did our laundry.

A community center is available for rent…see their website for more info on this.

Cost:  $220/weekly rate

Management: The folks that run this place are great. If they are not in the office, just call the number (sign on office door) and they will answer right away. They provided information about the area and we were able to get quarters to do the laundry too. The resort is very well maintained, immaculate, in fact. It’s beautiful here.

General Comments:  This is a great place for a family to enjoy an RV vacation. With all of the fun activities at the resort and Chickasaw NRA nearby, there’s lots to do.
