Our last night in Sulphur, OK, we decided to go out for dinner after we got the RV packed up for travel the next day. When I looked online for options, I came across Fat Bullys by the Lake. It is self-described as a “motorcycle-themed burger joint.” Famous for burgers, beers and bikes, it was a casual place with a patio (for our doggie, Sadie, to join us for dinner). Perfect!
Because it was raining, we decided to eat inside (Sadie does not mind waiting in the car with the windows down). And she knows her dad will be sure to bring a doggie bag for her. Ha ha.
John had the Fat Bully Burger (bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles and mayo) and I had the Vroom Vroom Schroom Burger (sautéed mushrooms, swiss cheese, and grilled onions). Honestly, they were absolutely delicious!! Maybe the best burger ever!! They were that good. Also, I had a glass of wine, so they serve more than just beer. And, of course, the menu has many more options in addition to burgers (shrimp, chicken, salads, etc.)
And our server, Kelly, was fantastic. In fact, everyone who worked there was very friendly and welcoming. The place has a great vibe.
Because of the weather, there was only one bike here when we visited…and it was parked under some shelter. Nice!
We snapped a couple of photos outside before departing. We really enjoyed this local favorite. Give it a try if you are in this part of the country.
