Tallahassee RV Park, April 1-5, 2019

Rating:  4.0 on a scale of 5

Location: This park is located about 1 mile from I-10 east of Tallahassee at the US 90 exit. Despite the proximity of the interstate, there was absolutely no traffic noise in the RV park. It is in a nicely wooded area. With I-10 so nearby, it was super easy to visit the attractions we wanted to see during our short stay here. Also, a Publix grocery store and gas station were located across the street. Very convenient.

Lot size: We had a drive-through site (most are in this park) with plenty of room for our tow dolly and car in addition to the RV (#4).

Amenities: Cable TV was great (especially since we have not had cable in months) and the wifi was usable. There is a swimming pool, unheated. The laundry room in on one end of the Rec Room. A grill is available for guests on the patio at the other end of the Rec Room. Bathhouse is in a separate small building.

Cost: $200; $40/night

Management: This is a well-run park. There were no vacancies most nights we were there, so I was glad that I had made reservations in advance. Lots of the RVers stayed only one night.

General Comments:  The reason I did not rate this park higher is because the water pressure was terrible! Other than that, it’s at a very convenient location with mostly pull-through sites.
