Location: The primary reason we selected this park for a one-week stay during our trek across the state of Kansas was the location. We wanted to see Fort Larned National Historic Site, the sights in Dodge City, and portions of the Santa Fe Trail. This place was in between the two. Honestly, there is very little to do in Kinsley (except the Edwards County Museum). Regardless, this location worked out very well for us as a home base.
Lot size: Our lot had a cement pad with grass surrounding the pad. We had plenty of room for our car and tow dolly. The lots are a bit narrow, but did not create a problem for us. It was a pull-through with easy access.
Amenities: The amenities here are somewhat limited. We had full hookups (which for the price was fantastic), nice laundry room (that we used), decent wifi, horseshoes (the nicest pits I have seen thus far in our travels!), an outdoor common picnic area with table/chairs and a fire pit (they are continuing to upgrade this area to an outdoor kitchen area).
There is a nature trail along Coon Creek on the property. Some enjoy fishing there.
There was a large field were Sadie had a blast playing frisbee every day.
We do not have satellite service and there were NO TV stations available by air (and there is no cable provided here). The office does, however, have a large selection of DVDs that can be borrowed (no charge), so we watched lots of movies! We did have very good AT&T reception here so were able to do our normal on-line stuff.

Cost: $119
Management: The couple that own this park used to be full-time RVers and purchased it a couple of years ago. They are very nice and laid back, and it is evident that they are making incremental improvements. Some of the folks we met are return guests. There is also a relatively large contingent of seasonal or full time residents. They are located in an area that is somewhat separate from the short-term visitors. Also, you can pick up information about the local area and things to do in the office.
General Comments: The cost was fantastic for a one-week stay with full hook-ups. Our Passport America card got us a significant reduction in cost. This is a great place to stay if you don't need/want more amenities.
