A mountain pass through Tucson Mountain is known as Gates Pass (named for its pioneer owner, Thomas Gates. A favorite location to view the sunset, we drove the short distance from our RV park with our friends, Liz and Mike (who had just arrived in Tucson). Others found various locations among the trails and structures (built by the CCC in the 1930s) to enjoy the view.
