Beach Time in Galveston, 11/29-12/09/2017

One of the reasons we chose Jamaica Beach RV Park for our two-month stay in Galveston this year is because it is across the road from the beach. We enjoy going for long walks there with our sweet doggie, Sadie. Beach Access Point 19 is within walking distance of the RV park.

It is always beautiful when the sun is shining and the water of the Gulf of Mexico is calm.

Vehicles are permitted on the beach and these poles block them from driving beyond the designated area.

Normally we walk to the west and always encounter interesting sights. Sadie met these two dogs and had a great time running and playing in the water with them. She even shared her frisbee with them.

Sadie also met some kids and had fun playing with them, too. The young boy was very skilled at capturing these tiny ghost crabs. They are so well camouflaged in the sand.

We have had such rainy weather, but it did not keep us from enjoying the beach!

These jellies were washed up on the shore every 100-200 feet. Sadie always likes to investigate everything she finds!

We loved this creative "big fishsand castle

And check out this cute sand man

We are looking forward to some more bright, sunny days, but are thankful to be away from the snowy cold of our home state of Pennsylvania.
