PnK RV Park, July to 8, 2019

Rating:  4.0 out of 5.0

Location: This is a very small RV park in the small town of Fritch in the Texas Panhandle. With plans to spend a couple of months in NM, we made a one-week stop here from Oklahoma, to visit Lake Meredith National Recreation Area and Alibates Flint Quarries National Monument. There is camping (for free) at Lake Meredith, but there are no hook ups. I made reservations at PnK, because it was very reasonably priced, had full hook ups and is close to Lake Meredith (for hiking, etc.)  Also, it was very close to the hardware and grocery store in Fritch.

Lot size: We had a back-in site that was very spacious. Most of the others staying here work in the area, but sites were neat and well maintained. It fit our needs perfectly.

Amenities: Wifi is available and we were able to pick up broadcast channels from Amarillo. The laundry room (2 washers/2 dryers) was in the same building as the office.

Cost:  $150/weekly rate; $21.40/night

Management: The owners live on-site and met us when we arrived. They gave us a couple of site options. We were very friendly and helpful. Our Sadie had a great time meeting and playing with the grandchildren!

General Comments: Not sure if we will visit Fritch, TX, in the future, but I would stay at PnK again.  If you are looking for amenities, this is not the place for you. For us, it met our needs, was very reasonably priced, and we enjoyed our quiet here, hence the 4.0 rating.
