Bar scenes for the movie, Top Gun, were filmed at this restaurant.
The scene with Goose playing the piano was added to the script when the director saw this piano at the bar.
Lots of Top Gun memorabilia is displayed on the walls including photos signed by the movie's leading actors (Tom Cruise, Kelly McGinnis, Meg Ryan, etc.)
We enjoyed our lunch and drinks on the patio.
This is a fun stop, especially if you liked the movie. There are large. modern hotels and restaurants all over this area so it was nice to visit a friendly, casual bar!
