Rating: 3.0 on a scale of 5
Lot size: Because there was a race the weekend we arrived, we did not get one of the best sites here. Other RVs were very close to ours as you can see by the photos below. Nonetheless, we had full hookups and a grassy area next to the RV. And we never heard our neighbors. It worked out fine for our purposes. We spent very little time at the RV park. Our 50-amp power cord would not reach to the power source for the lot, but the owners of the park loaned us a 50-amp extension cord during our stay. We had plenty of room for the tow dolly and to park our Mini Countryman.
Amenities: There are really no amenities here except for wifi. We were able to get many TV broadcast stations because of the location near to Charlotte. There are only porta-potty bathrooms and even a porta-shower.
Cost: $140; $20/night
Management: As I said in our previous review, the owners here are very nice folks. They advised us we could move to a premium site during the week if we wanted, but we decided to stay where we were. They are easy to deal with and check in is a breeze. There is no "office," as you just call a mobile number and the owners meet you. They have always responded promptly.
General Comments: We will stay at this campground again when we are in Concord to visit family. And you can't beat the price for a full hook-up site. The nearby fields provided a place for our doggie, Sadie, to go for a run, too! We like it here.
