Mountain Valley RV Resort - August 27-September 2, 2014

Rating:  5 on a scale of 5

Location:  Beautiful setting surrounded by mountains. Convenient to Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest and Park City, there were many interesting scenic drives and sights to see from this location. We used this is a stopping off point for the Labor Day weekend as we travel from Yellowstone National Park to the Grand Canyon.

Lot size:  We had a nice pull-through lot with a portion that is grass (that is watered every night). Our RV is sitting on concrete with enough room to accommodate our tow dolly. And there is an additional concrete section to park our car.

Amenities: Beautiful heated pool (80 degrees), fabulous hot tub, large gas fire pit, great basketball court, playground, etc. The clubhouse has two large screen TVs, ping-pong table, books, etc.  Also, the large, fenced-in, dog park is great! Sadie loved the opportunity to be off-leash with enough area to play frisbee and run to her heart's content.

Playground.
Basketball court.
Fire pit.

Everything here is new, immaculate, and beautifully maintained.

Cost:  $240 with Good Sam Discount

Management: Despite the mistake made on the access codes upon check-in, these folks are very acccommodating and were very helpful with advice on sights to see in the area.

Comments: This RV resort is rated 10/10/10 on the Good Sam rating scheme, and it is, indeed, a new, beautiful, well-maintained park. My only complaint is that on check-in we were provided with two incorrect access codes (to the entry gate and to the pool). When I checked in with the office about this, it was immediately rectified with appropriate apologies. We would definitely recommend this park and will stay here again if we are in the area.
