We did some chores today and, wanting to do something fun, I challenged John to a game of miniature golf. Because Corpus Christi feels like a beach community to me, isn't that something you have to do at the beach? So we found a place near us to play, Funtrackers Family Fun Center.
There were many families have a fun Sunday afternoon at this place that offers indoor games, go carts (three tracks for different age groups), bumper boats, batting cage, and miniature golf.
We, of course, played minitature golf. The course was well maintained, and relatively easy (as you would expect given the average age of players here). The master with his eye on the hole. He did scored two holes-in-one and beat me by two strokes on the top nine and two on the bottom nine as well.
For me, this is how the day went. Not a single hole-in-one. Rats!
Nonetheless, we had fun playing. And then we spent some time watching the kids on the various other rides. We reminisced about how much our kids would have liked this place in their younger years!
Check out their website for activities, hours of operation, and costs.
