Hacienda RV and Rally Park - 1/27/15 to 2/03/15

Rating: 4.5 on a scale of 5

Location: Very close to I-10, this park is in a great location as a home base to visit the various attractions in the Las Cruces area. It's only about a mile to Old Mesilla historic landmarks, shopping, and restaurants. We also visited the amazing White Sands National Monument (50 miles) and the White Sands Missile Museum and Park from here. There is some noise from trains at night and I-10, but not enough to be an issue for us.

Lot Size: The sites here are large, pull-throughs, with privacy fences in between...really very nice. We ended up with an end site (extra large) near the dog walk. It was perfect.

Amenities: The facility has a beautiful living room with a fireplace; a covered patio with an outdoor fireplace; and additional outdoor courtyards.

There is an exercise room and a large hot tub that was fabulous!

The laundry facilities were top notch as well.

For rally events, there are meeting rooms and a group event area. Hook ups were well maintained and cable TV is provided. We were able to use the wifi overnight to complete backups to iCloud, otherwise we used our AT&T carrier for connectivity.

Cost: $268; when you stay a week it is 6 days and 1 night free.

Management: This was one of the most efficient (and quick) check-ins I have experienced in our travels. They are very organized and had all of the information we needed ready to go when we arrived. They also gave us a premium site although we had only paid for a standard one, which was awesome. There's lots of information about attractions in the area in the lobby as well as discount coupons to various local restaurants.

General Comments: If they had had a heated pool and cost a little less, I would have given this place a 5 rating. It's a beautiful park and I was happy that we decided to stay in Las Cruces on our way from Tombstone, AZ, to Big Bend National Park, TX. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
